DWYER, William F. Retired Firefighter, Brookline Fire Department. Of Somerville, formerly of Brookline and Framingham. Passed away after a long illness on November 22, 2025. Loving husband of Ellen (Rogers) Dwyer. Beloved son of the late John and Theresa (Laquidara) Dwyer. Devoted brother of Thomas "Dewey" Dwyer of West Roxbury. Dear nephew of Jean Dwyer of Brookline. Also survived by his brother-in-law Mike Rogers and his wife Maribeth of West Roxbury, sister-in-law Patti Barrows and her late husband Leo of Abington and many nieces and nephews and pre-deceased by his nephew Thomas Dwyer. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 25th in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline from 9:00 – 10:30 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 11:00. Interment will follow in the Walnut Hills Cemetery. Late member Brookline Fire Dept. Local # 950 I.A.F.F. and Veteran U.S. Army.
