CHIN, Whalen of Newtonville, formerly of Brookline passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2022. Loving father of Whalen Chin Jr. and his wife Lynne Chin of Weymouth and Stephen Ken Chin of Braintree. Predeceased by his son Jason J. Chin. Survived by his loving partner Susan M. Camillo of Newtonville and her children Matthew Scott Manopoli of Reston,VA., Katherine C. Manopoli of Ashby, MA, and David C. Manopoli and his wife Patricia of Peabody, MA. Loving grandfather of Whalen Chin III, Wesley R. Chin and Ian J. Chin. He is also survived by his brothers Wilkin Chin and his wife Annie of Foxboro and Wilbur Chin and his wife Anne of Westford MA. Also survived by Alyssa Chirlin. Visiting hours will be held in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 and again on Friday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 with funeral procession leaving at 11:00. Burial Walnut Hills Cemetery.
