Timothy Francis "Tim" Sullivan

September 29, 1957 – May 28, 2024

Timothy Francis "Tim" Sullivan, a native of South Boston and longtime resident of Brookline, Massachusetts, passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 66. He worked at Brookline Town Hall for 41 years before retiring. He was well-liked and known for his love of the town and commitment to service. Outside of his professional life, Tim volunteered for various town organizations as well as numerous ecological and environmental causes. He is survived by his sister Mary as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

A family man, Tim cherished time spent with relatives and was passionate about sharing their successes. He had a love for animals, from his early retriever mix. Happy, to his Cairn Terrier, Maggie May, and later his late sister's cat, Velvet.

A lifelong sports fan, Tim held Red Sox season tickets and was a devoted Bruins, Patriots, and Celtics supporter. In his younger years, he volunteered as a caretaker for the Zealand Trail in New Hampshire and shared his love of hiking and nature with many.

A visitation will be held at Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline, on Thursday, September 26th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tim may be made to the American Heart Association.
