Thomas W. Taylor, Sr. was born and raised in Brookline, MA.  He was a graduate of Brookline High School and went on to become a Brookline Fire Fighter for many years.  In addition to his time at the Brookline Fire Department, Tommy took care of the grounds and buildings of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish for almost 40 years.  He was an avid golfer and had a passion for the outdoors and all things sports related.

Tommy was the son of the late John F. and Helen Taylor of Brookline.  He was the second of 5 siblings, predeceased by Jack, Paul, and Norma Murphy.  He is survived by his sister Marybeth McDonnell of Needham and sister-in-law Jeannie Taylor of Falmouth.  Tommy was married for over 70 years to Margery Taylor and they had three children together; Thomas Jr., Paula and Robert.  He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial is being held in Tommy's name at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Brookline on Saturday December 7th at 10:00 am. All are welcome.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, 5 Linden Pl., Brookline, MA. 02445.
