Sophie Coppedge Walker died on January 4, 2016 in Wellington, Florida. Sophie was born on April 10, 1985 in Boston, Massachusetts to her parents Roy F. Coppedge III and Susan Emerson Gordon. She attended the Dana Hall School and graduated from Brookline High School and New York University. She married Brian S. Walker of Wellington, Florida on September 29, 2012 in Lexington, Kentucky. Sophie and Brian operated Woodside Farm and Sagamore Farm in Wellington and Lexington. Since she was a young girl, Sophie was a passionate equestrian who had an accomplished career on both local and national amateur circuits. In more recent years, Sophie and Brian ran a successful barn for many loyal clients. Sophie was a vibrant young woman whose zest for life was boundless and contagious. She will be missed enormously by those whose lives she touched. Sophie is survived by her husband Brian S. Walker; her parents Roy F. Coppedge III and Susan Emerson Gordon; her stepfather Harley S. Gordon; her father-in-law David H. Walker and mother-in-law Corry T. Walker; her siblings Schuyler, Walker, Luke, and Peter Coppedge and Ian Gordon; her sisters-in-law Irene, Jill, and Antonella Coppedge; her nieces and nephews Phoebe and Luke Coppedge; Grace Coppedge; and Christopher, Thomas, and Roy Coppedge.
