It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Salina Chan on January 5, 2025, at the age of 75. Salina was born on October 26. 1949 to Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Chan in China. She was the cherished sister of Chiu Yee Chan, Cindy Chan and Alfred Chan and a loving aunt to David, Helen and Carl.
Throughout her life Salina exhibited a vibrant, carefree spirit with a passion for life. She was kind and generous to her family and friends. After a successful 30 years career in John Hancock Insurance Company, she took early retirement to look after her aging and ailing parents until their passing. She did it with such compassion and dedication despite her own health issues.
In the last 15 years of her life, Salina fought a courageous battle with Lupus, bowel cancer and kidney failure requiring dialysis. Her journey through illness was marked by her optimism, resilience and unwavering spirit that touched and inspired everyone who knew her.
Rest in peace, dear Salina. You will be missed but never forgotten.
