90, formerly of Stony Brook, New York, died peacefully on July 11, 2016. She was born to the late Ethel and Alfred Filler, June 12, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Erasmus High School. She was married 67 years to the late Dr. Lawrence Jacobs. Ruth is survived by her beloved three children: Karen, Jon and Lisa, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and her brother, Robert Filler. Her funeral will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 12:00 PM in the Walnut Hills Cemetery, 96 Grove St., Brookline, MA. 02467.
