Roy Evans Pier, age 65, passed away on November 24th, 2023 surrounded by family at the UMassMemorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA. He was born on May 2nd, 1958 in Boston. He lived inWinchendon, MA. Roy was kind, generous and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was friendly, alwayshad a smile and loved people. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him. He workedfor many years at Sears and at Shaws and served as a Personal Care Attendant providing assistance to adisabled individual. His most recent job was at a farm in Baldwinville, MA. He loved the work and theanimals and enjoyed tending to the cows on the farm. He was an avid bowler and chess player. In hisyounger years, he was an acolyte at Trinity Church in Boston.

He was predeceased by his father, Arthur. He is survived by his mother, Anna, from Cambridge, MA;brother, Arthur (Gwen), from New York City; brother, Richard, from Chicago, IL; sister, Gweneth Richard(Gary), from Danvers, MA; and sister, Lorna Giron (Fabio), from Montclair, NJ.

A private burial was held on December 11th at the Milton Cemetery. A memorial service is planned forMay, 2024.
