PENDER, Rose M. (Anzivino). Of Brookline passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Paul R. Pender. Loving mother of Paul R. Pender, Jr. and his wife Beth of Westwood, Joyce McCaffrey and her husband Joseph of Plymouth and the late Roseanne Pender of Brookline. Devoted daughter of the late Erminio "Arrow" and Edith Anzivino. Dear sister of the late Leonard Anzivino of Vermont. Cherished Nana Rose to her five grandsons and their wives, Sean, Michael (Luisa), Brian (Alison), Paul "PJ" (Juliane) and Zachary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. Visitation will be held in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 5 Linden Pl., Brookline on Thursday December 12th from 9:30 – 11:00 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Holyhood Cemetery. Rose was a graduate of Brookline High School Class of 1949. Rose touched many lives with her crocheting for disabled veterans. She will be remembered for her kind spirit and her exemplary cooking skills and making her famous tortellini "Belly buttons" by the thousands.  In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Rose may be made to the Fisher House Boston, P.O.
