Ronald F. Bell of Brookline, MA, and Bradenton, FL passed away peacefully on February 9th, 2023. He is survived by his loving daughter, Wendy (Bell) Bethoney, her husband Mansour Bethoney, and his two grandsons whom he adored, Reece and Quinn Bethoney. His former wife Dorothy Bell, his older brother Richard "Dickie" Bell, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He is predeceased by his beloved mother Evelyn Bell his brothers William Bell, Alfred "Buddy" Bell, Norman Bell, Robert "Bobby" Bell, and his sister Jean Bean.

Ronnie grew up in Boston living in numerous parts of the city, making some lifelong friends, and having many stories of "the neighborhoods" of his childhood and early adulthood. He joined the service as a young man serving in The Air Force and recalled that period of his life fondly. He settled in and worked for most of his life in the town of Brookline where he was an active member of The Elks. He was employed by The Brookline Water Department mostly as a working foreman always preferring to be in the community than an office. Upon retiring and tiring of the snow he spent his winters in Bradenton, FL, and summers at his cottage in Wareham, MA

Ronnie loved many things in life, but nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his family. He was a devoted father to his daughter and cherished his role of "Papa" to his grandsons. Much of his time was spent with his daughter and grandsons, which made him happiest. His favorite pastime was buying and selling cars. He enjoyed going out to dinner, the beach, boating, attending car shows, and visiting historical sites. He loved to drive and "take a ride" which, could mean locally for ice cream or thousands of miles to another state. He will be remembered for his playful personality, easy smile, and laughter. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Tuesday February 14th at 11:15 AM. Family and friends are invited to attend.
