Roger T. Whitcomb

WHITCOMB, Roger T. — A lifelong Brookline resident, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He was 62 years old.

Roger was the loving father of Cassandra M. Whitcomb and Paige E. Whitcomb. He is also survived by their mother, Diane D'Entremont. He was the devoted son of the late Alice and John Whitcomb, the dear brother of Michelle Whitcomb, and the late John Whitcomb.

Roger was a longtime dedicated employee of the former Brookline Smokehouse before joining the Brookline School Department, where he worked until his retirement a few years ago.

Family and friends are invited to gather for Roger's funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
