PHILLIPS, Roger M. Of Chestnut Hill, formerly of Plymouth and Phoenix, AZ., passed away after a long illness at the age of 75. Loving father of the late Allyson Phillips. Devoted son of the late Edward F. and Charlotte L. (O'Gorman) Phillips. Dear brother of Edward "Chip" and his wife Patricia of Park, AZ., Gregg and his wife Patty of Hingham and the late John Phillips. Roger is predeceased by his former wife Charlene "Sherri" (McNeilly) Phillips. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jack Phillips and Lucy LeBlanc both of Beverly, his nephew, Patrick Phillips and his wife Melissa of Hingham as well as friends from years as a student at the Baker School, Brookline High School and of course the Golf Courses.
Visitation will be held in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Wednesday morning from 9:00 – 10:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Lawrence Church, Chestnut Hill at 11:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Walnut Hills Cemetery. Late Vietnam Veteran U.S. Army. Retired employee Brookline Parks Dept.
