PARKS, Robert Seth, III, 66, died peacefully Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023 after being diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago.

A quiet and gentle soul, Bobby enjoyed working on art projects, including painting, shipbuilding and creating dioramas. An animal lover, he owned a number of birds over the years. Feeding neighborhood birds, squirrels and cats was a favorite pastime.

He took pleasure in cooking and sharing recipes or his latest "find." Though he didn't have much, he was generous with what he did have.

A 1974 graduate of Mission Church High School, he served briefly in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by a brother, John Parks & his wife Patricia of York, ME; a sister, Vanessa Parks & her husband James Amorello of Shrewsbury; cousins, Nancy Geary & her husband Michael of West Roxbury, Elaine Adams, Laura Adams & Maureen Adams, all of Mission Hill, Frederick Adams & his wife Heidi of West Roxbury, Daniel Adams & his wife Stacie of Roslindale; two nieces and a nephew and many cousins. Dear friend of Mary Rodriguez of Mission Hill. He was predeceased by his parents, Theresa (Casey) & Robert Parks, sister Karynn Parks and beloved aunt Anna (Casey) Adams.

Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Tuesday morning at 9:00 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Boston's Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help "Mission Church" at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 – 7:00. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
