Obituary

Robert "Bob" Sullivan passed away peacefully at HopeHealth Hospice Center in Providence, RI from Metastatic Gastro Esophageal Cancer on March 26, 2024, after only being diagnosed in late September 2023. Bob faced his disease with humor and optimism hoping to be well enough to attend his highly anticipated 80's themed cruise with his partner Teresa in late February.

Born in Brookline, MA to the late Robert L. "Rocky" and Joan Sullivan (Kelly) graduating from Brookline High School and later East Coast Aero Tech. Survived by his children Jimmy Sullivan of Randolph and Katie Scafidi (Jeff) of Franklin. Brother of Karen Godwin (Peter) of Millis. Bob was the former husband of Mary E. Sullivan of Brockton and partner Teresa Sexton of Middleboro. Also loving uncle to Michael Godwin of Nashville, TN and Andrew Godwin of Cranston, RI.

Bob started his career at Federal Express in Oakland, CA in 1984 before his transfer back to the Randolph station where he worked as a courier for almost 30 years before retiring. Bob enjoyed following all the Boston sports teams and would have made an excellent trivia partner.
