NELSON, Richard C. Patrolman Brookline Police Dept. (ret.) Of Brookline passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025. Beloved husband of the late MaryJane (Kilgallon) Nelson. Loving father of Theresa M. Breen of Brookline, Richard C. Nelson, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Eastham, Robert W. Nelson and his wife Rita of Westwood, David J. Nelson and his wife Mary Beth of Canton and Stephen M. Nelson and his wife Rosa of West Roxbury. Dear brother of Arthur Nelson of Walpole and Alice Bloom of Citrus Heights, CA. Also survived by his fifteen cherished grandchildren, his adored great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Monday morning at 9:00 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 10:00.
