MEADE, Peter A., of San Diego, CA, formerly of Brookline, the youngest son of the late Josephine T. (Duggan) Meade and Frederick P. Meade, passed away unexpectedly. Peter was the youngest of four children raised in Brookline, MA. A multi-sport varsity athlete and graduate of Brookline High School, class of 1985. He is survived by his siblings, Frederick Meade, Thomas Meade, and Mary Meade Ambrefe, and predeceased by his brother-in-law, Brian Ambrefe. He is also survived by his nephew, Lyndon Brian Ambrefe (Victoria), niece, Avery Ilai Ambrefe, great-nephew, Nathan Brian Ambrefe, as well as his uncle, Verne Powell, and many cousins over three generations.

Peter will always be remembered for his infectious spirit, love of family and friends, and his unwavering faith. We are grateful to his close California "brother", Travis Bullock, and his family for treating Peter like their own.

Peter transformed his challenges into a professional practice, one that was committed to caring for those in need. He was a gifted healer, opening his therapeutic massage practice, Infinity Bodywork, and providing relief to countless clients over the course of three decades. He intuitively integrated multiple modalities after carefully listening to the somatic complaints of those in his care. Those who knew Peter would agree that, in many ways, he was ahead of his time, introducing many of us to Tuina, Kundalini Breathing, Mantra Meditation, and similar practices, decades before they became mainstream.

Following Peter's wishes, there will be no services. Bell O'Dea Funeral Home, Brookline, MA, is providing arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please commit a random act of kindness in Peter's memory.
