JOY, Paul J. Suddenly in Norwood, formerly of Brookline on June 17, 2015. Born on September 14, 1962. Loving father of Eric F. and Paul J. Joy Jr. Devoted son of Dolores M. (Gaffney) Joy of Brookline and the late Edward P. Joy (Former Drill Sgt. U.S.M.C.). Dear brother of Christine Joy of West Roxbury, Jacqueline Joy of Norwood, Joseph Joy of Brookline and the late Kevin, Thomas, Edward and baby Michael Joseph Joy. Also survived by his uncle, James Gaffney of Somers Point, NJ., and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul's two greatest loves were his sons, Eric and Paul whom he loved dearly and brought him such Joy and happiness. His hobbies were cars and pretty much anything with a motor. An exceptional mechanic, he could work on anything from a Model T to a current day motor vehicle. His first love was his 1970 Chevy Chevelle which he completely restored and proudly displayed. Retired employee M.B.T.A. Funeral services and interment will be private.
