Murphy, Nora. Of Hudson, NH, formerly of Chestnut Hill, Mass. on February 21, 2017. Nora was the daughter of the late Patrick Hession and Bridget Smith of Ireland. Nora was the wife of the late Nicholas Joe Murphy. She leaves her son Stephen of West Roxbury Mass, daughter Ellen and her husband Richard MacIntosh of Hudson, NH, daughter Ann Marie and her husband Daniel Gillis of Nashua, NH. Nora was predeceased by her son Kevin and daughter JoAnn. Nora had five grandchildren, Joseph, Timothy and John MacIntosh of Hudson, NH and Kevin Gillis and Carolann Platas of South Carolina and a great grandson Jameson. Nora was the sister of the late Sister Magdelan, Patrick, James, Mary and Michael. Nora was formerly employed and retired from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and was a volunteer at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11:30 in Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre St., West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visitation prior to the Mass in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline, MA. from 9:00 11:00. Burial will be at St Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
