Millicent Olivia Kalaf, 84, died in Brookline, MA on May 20, 2023 after a brief illness. She leaves her sister Marilyn; her niece Sarah; her nephew Jeremy; her niece Jessica; and many friends, long-time neighbors, and former coworkers. She is predeceased by her brother Douglas; her nephew Jason; and her parents Cameel and Selma of Lebanon. She was born and raised in Binghamton, NY but proudly lived in Brookline for most of her life. She retired from UMass Lowell in 2004 after a prominent career, having previously gained degrees with honors from Radcliffe College and University of Rochester. Her passions included academia, history, world travel, and art. No services are planned. Her wit and intellect will be greatly missed.
