CARROLL, Maureen M. (Haberger). Of Dedham and So. Yarmouth formerly of Brookline passed away with her family at her side on July 26, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Carroll, Jr., Lt. Brookline Fire Dept.(ret.) Loving mother of Edward J. "EJ/Ed" Carroll, III and his wife Suzanne Carroll of Dedham and the late Cynthia L. Carroll. Adored grandmother "Grams" of Edward J. "EJ" IV. and Kaelyn both of Dedham and Ryan Franzese of Andover. Devoted daughter of the late Joseph L. and Antoinette (D'Angelo) Haberger. Dear sister of Joanne Blondiet, Margaret Peebles, Annette Hughes, Patricia Jonas, Joseph L. Haberger, Jr., Susan Coombs and the late Carole Foley, Judith Flynn and Mary Jonas. Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends, traveling, an occasional trip to the slot machines and a scratch ticket or two.

Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., BROOKLINE, on Friday Aug. 4th at 9:00 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 10:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00. Interment Walnut Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association and/or American Cancer Society.
