Mary Elizabeth Corr (Kelley), age 89, of Boston, MA (previously of Sudbury, MA) passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday August 1, 2017 Mary was born in Boston on August 21, 1927 and was raised in West Roxbury. She was a graduate of West Roxbury High School, as well as The Kathleen Dell School of Business. Mary worked in the advertising department of Sears-Roebuck prior to her marriage, as well as in the Sudbury Public School system. Mary was a long-time member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Sudbury and an active volunteer for Birthright in Framingham providing support to single mothers, and a supporter of many charitable causes. Mary will be remembered for her love of all creatures, especially her beloved dog, Winnie. Mary is survived by her adoring husband of 65 years James F. Corr of Boston MA; her son Shawn and his wife Christine of Charlestown, MA; her daughter Beth of Newton, MA; and four loving grandchildren: Michaela, Patrick and his wife Lauren, Colin, and Riley. Mary was preceded in death by her dear eldest son, Brian. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a funeral mass in celebration of Mary's life on Saturday August 5, at St. Ignatius Parish, Chestnut Hill, MA at 10:00 AM.
