Mary Henson
March 1934 – December 18, 2024

Mary Henson of Brookline, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the age of 90. Born in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, in March of 1934, she was the oldest of nine, daughter of the late Katie and Owen McBarron and cherished wife of the late Edward Henson.

A kind, lively, independent and strong-willed woman, Mary's warmth and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Known for her love of family and friends, she was always ready for a cup of tea, her famous Irish soda bread and a good chat. Her home was a place of laughter, love, and hospitality, and her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her beloved children, Kevin and Noreen Henson, Noreen's partner Patrick Marton, along with her child (and Mary's cherished grandchild) Devlin Crosley. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, who will remember her not only for her strength, wit, and generosity but also for the joy she brought into their lives.
