Mary Elizabeth Hennessey

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mary Elizabeth Hennessey. She was the heart of our family—a loving, selfless, and devoted mother,  whose greatest joy was caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A woman of deep faith, she lived her life guided by God's love, kindness, and compassion. Her unwavering devotion to her family and her strong religious beliefs touched everyone who knew her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Hennessey and her dear sister Julia Bassil. She is lovingly survived by her children, Maryrose Noble and her husband, Peter, of Dedham; Joseph Hennessey of Lynnfield; John Hennessey and his wife, Susan, of Walpole; Susan Lynch of Norwood, and Gerard Hennessey and his wife, Mary, of Gloucester. She also leaves behind sixteen cherished grandchildren and twenty-four treasured great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and grace that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Wednesday July 1st, 4:00-7:00, Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Thursday July 2nd at 9:00 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 10:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment private.
