PAULI, Marilyn (Gibbs). Of Brookline on May 2, 2017. Beloved wife of Christopher J. Pauli. Loving mother of Marlane A. Stempko and husband David of Maynard and Laura Fay and husband David of Acton. Cherished grandmother of Brian Christopher Fay and Katherine Elizabeth Fay. Dear sister of the late Ann Gibbs and Dorothy C. Hedrick. Dear cousin to Leon and June Hebert, and David Murchison. Loving Sister in law of Janice and the late Walter Nowicki of Falmouth, Carl and Susan Pauli of Quincy, Joan and Graham Bird of Tewksbury, Barbara and Clark Jones of Lawrence, Betty Martin and Robert McGinness of Kittery, ME. Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was devoted to her husband, and an advocate for her daughters. She was well known for her dry sense of humor and a deep love for animals. She spent many years working at the Ritz-Carlton Boston, and for more than 50 years, ran a guest house in Brookline where she welcomed guests from around the globe and made friendships that have lasted through the years. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 8:00. Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., BROOKLINE, Tuesday morning at 9:10 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 10:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Donations made in Marilyn's name to either the Angell Memorial, 350 So. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA. 02130 www.mspca.org or to the Salvation Army www.give.salvationarmyusa.org would be appreciated.
