Madeleine Mary (Devine) Corcoran passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 27, 2025. She was 94.

Madeleine was the loving wife of the late Thomas Corcoran, cherished mother of Thomas J. Corcoran and his wife Maureen of Brookline, Paul D. Corcoran and his wife Janet of Canton, Jacqueline M. Corcoran of Brookline, Craig L. Corcoran and his wife Gail also of Brookline.

Devoted grandmother of Daniel, Thomas, David, Brian, Jack, Andrew, Paul P., Mary and Paul D. Corcoran. Great grandmother to Ella and Cole. Daughter of the late Walter A. and Madeleine C. Devine, and dear sister of the late Walter A. Devine Jr. and Charles G. Devine.

Madeleine was a lifelong Brookline resident and a beloved teacher at Brookline High School for many years, where she was a dear friend and mentor to many. She enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod with her family. She will be remembered for her energetic nature, her caring spirit, her enormous impact on students, and as the loving matriarch of our family.

Visiting hours in Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St, Brookline on Wednesday April 30th from 3pm to 7pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence Church, 774 Boylston St., Chestnut Hill on Thursday May 1st at 11 am. Burial immediately following at Walnut Hills Cemetery, Brookline.
