Lourdes Rivera

Lourdes Rivera, of Watertown, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 67.

Born on May 3, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York, Lourdes lived a life centered on love, family, and enduring friendships. She will be remembered for her caring spirit and the lasting impact she made on those who knew and loved her.

Lourdes was predeceased by her beloved parents, Rosali Rivera and Gloria Rivera.

She is lovingly remembered and survived by her former husband, Ronald Arroyo of Cidra, Puerto Rico; her cherished daughter, Natalie Nicole Arroyo Rivera (Jesus Camunas); her brothers, Orlando Rivera and Carlos Rivera (Evelyn); her devoted partner, Paul Liberty, and his children, Sarah Heniriques (Fernando), and Jacob Liberty; and her aunts, Maria Narvaez and Ermita Narvaez-Cruz. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Visiting hours will be held at Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington Street, Brookline, on Thursday, July 9, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lourdes's memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
