It is with profound love and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Lisa" Perkins, 60, of Pembroke, Massachusetts, who returned to the loving arms of the Lord on 4 July 2026. Born 4 March 1966, Lisa was the beloved daughter of Lloyd G. "Rusty" Perkins and Elizabetth "Betty" Perkins (Canney) of Walpole, MA.
Although Lisa faced extraordinary challenges, she loved life, and she truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She taught us the true meaning of love, forgiveness, patience, and acceptance. Lisa loved everybody. She also loved a good hot cup of tea - 2 sugars and a splash of whole milk. She also loved listening to music and spending time at the CLT Program at New England Village (NEV) in Pembroke, MA, where she was a resident for the past 12 years.
Lisa is survived by her parents, her brother Joseph Perkins, her sister Ann Marie Powell, her brother-in-law, Raymond G. Powell, and her nephews - Aaron Perkins, Sean Perkins, Conor Perkins, Raymond D. Powell, and Liam Powell. Lisa is also survived by her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and her NEV family, all of whom she loved so much.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the medical team at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Boston for their excellent care, compassion, and support these past few days.
A celebration of Lisa's life will be held on Wednesday, 8 July from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Bell O'Dea Funeral Home in Brookline, Massachusetts, followed by a Catholic mass at St. Mary's Church, Brookline at 1:00 p.m. All who were touched by Lisa's beautiful spirit are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to New England Village, Inc., 664 School Street, Pembroke, MA, 02359 to honor Lisa's legacy.
