Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kendra Lynn Radley, which occurred on June 27th, 2022. She is survived by her mother, Marivee Radley; grandmother, Barbara Radley; and sister, Shannon Bates, brother-in-law Brendan Bates, and niece, Sloane Bates. Kendra's childhood years were spent in Brookline where she attended Pierce Elementary School and later Brookline High School. She was athletic and agile and embraced life similarly. At the age of 17, this agility helped her find her way into the business of hospitality where she managed various restaurants in Boston and helped cultivate a welcoming scene in several restaurants in North Carolina. Kendra loved animals, astrology, and her friends, whom she called her family. Kendra taught us many lessons in her short time, and she leaves us with heavy hearts -- gone far too soon but having left an indelible mark on our lives. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home on Monday July 25th between 6-8pm. Join us in remembering with love the life of Kendra Radley. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in memory of Kendra to the MSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/boston-adoption-center or BAGLY Inc. https://www.bagly.org/donate To the living, I am gone. To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated, But to the happy, I am at peace, And to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea – remember me. As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty – remember me. As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity – remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never be gone. -Margret Mead
