Driscoll, Katherine Pauline (Moloney). Of Brookline, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2016, at the Tippett Hospice Home in Needham, MA, at the age of 89. Katherine, who was affectionately known by her family and closest friends as Pauline, was the last surviving child of the late Lawrence T. and Katherine M. (Behan) Moloney of Brookline, MA. She was predeceased by her husband George F. Driscoll, her brothers, Lawrence T. Moloney, Jr., James E. Moloney, and her twin brother, Paul J. Moloney. Pauline was a life long resident of Brookline, MA where she attended St. Mary of the Assumption High School. Pauline worked for the Brookline Public Schools before moving on to the Massachusetts Division of Employment Security where she worked for 30 years until her retirement. Pauline married George F. Driscoll on July 4, 1953, at St. Mary's Church in Brookline, and had three children and six grandchildren. Pauline is survived by her son, George F. Driscoll, Jr., and his wife, Dr. Mary Jane Houlihan, of Needham, MA; her daughter, Patricia A. (Driscoll) Frazer and her husband, Brett Frazer, of Winooski, VT; and her son, Lawrence M. Driscoll and his wife, Roberta, of Newton, MA. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Ryan E. Frazer, Dylan P. Frazer, Erin M. Driscoll, Aidan P. Driscoll, James D. Driscoll and Joseph Mann. The Driscoll family would like to thank the staff at Goddard House Assisted Living in Brookline and at the Tippet Hospice Home for their extraordinary care and compassion in Pauline's last years and days.
