PIGNATO, John J. Of Brookline, MA on April 20, 2019. Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Frances L. (Langmead). A loving father, he leaves behind William J. Pignato (and Laurie Waters) of Jamaica Plain, MA and Robert J. Pignato (and Nathan Monell), and Zalo Faught-Monell and Kira Faught-Monell of Springfield, VA. Dear brother of Mary Sullo of Canton and the late Josephine Boger, Nunzio Pignato, Joseph Pignato, Grace Vignogna, Rose Pignato, Frances Christensen, and Phyllis Turgeon. John is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He had a great long life, living independently into his nineties. As part of the "Greatest Generation" he lived through an amazing history, including the Great Depression, World War II, and the joyous history-making Red Sox victory in the 2004 World Series.
