HUNT, John J. "Jack". Of Brookline on August 4, 2015. Died peacefully with family by his side. Born in Brookline, Massachusetts he was a life long resident of Brookline. Beloved husband of the late Helen P. (Ryan) Hunt and loving father to James, Robert, Lawrence and John and wonderful father in law to Jean, Ellen, Doug and Euri. He was a devoted and adored grandfather to Andrew and Robert Hunt. Dear brother of Dorothy Lund, and the late Therese Sleyman, Kenneth and William Hunt. Jack served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and was retired Division Foreman Brookline Water Dept., he was also a member of the Stephen F. Rutledge Post # 864 VFW. Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., BROOKLINE, Saturday morning at 9:10 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 10:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00. Interment Walnut Hills Cemetery.
