Janet A. McConnell, 86, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on August 30, 2021. She was born in Brookline, Massachusetts on October 27, 1934 to James Gabriel and Alice (Mahoney) Curran. Janet attained her bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1956. She worked for General Electric in Schenectady, NY for 36 years, where she held various executive management positions in the information technology field. She retired in 1994 and relocated to Port St. Lucie, Florida where she continued her lifelong passion for playing the piano. Janet was married to Raymond McConnell for 32 years until his passing in 2000. She was married to her second husband, Donald Robbins from 2005 until his passing in 2016. Janet is survived by her sister, Phyllis Bradley (Tom), stepchildren Priscilla Harvey (Robert) and Kirt Robbins, nephews Richard Shute (Lucy), James Beaulieu (Laura), John Beaulieu (Frederique), Thomas Bradley (Sharon) and nieces Maureen Serrano (Freddie) and Julie Bradley. She is also survived by several special friends, step grandchildren and great nephews and nieces, including special great niece Marissa Tozer (Blaec). In addition to her husbands, Janet was preceded in death by her dear sister Alice Beaulieu, dear niece Janet Shute and nephew Raymond Beaulieu. Services will be held in Brookline, Massachusetts on September 10, 2021 with visitation at 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home. Interment in the Holyhood Cemetery will follow.
