Janet Marie Ewanouski Harris, age 59, of Newton, formerly of Brookline, passed peacefully in her home Friday September 13, 2024. Janet fought fiercely and courageously in her battle with breast cancer and spent her final days being diligently cared for by her family in her home. Beloved wife of Paul F. Harris JR., of Newton, formerly of Wellesley with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Connor Harris of Tewksbury, Fay Harris of Newton and Spencer Harris of Pepperell. Cherished daughter of the late Mary Ewanouski (Fay) and Henry Ewanouski of Brookline. Loving sister of Michael Ewanouski and his wife Kim Ewanouski of Scituate, Steven Ewanouski of Wellesley, Robert Ewanouski and his wife Lisa Ewanouski of Weston, and David Ewanouski and his wife Ann of Canton. Janet is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and honor Janet's life. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday September 17, 2024 from 4-8PM at the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home at 376 Washington Street, Brookline MA. Her funeral will be celebrated Wednesday September 18, 2024 at 10AM at Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish at 5 Linden Pl, Brookline MA.
