Jake Wing Lung of Brookline, age 92, son of the late Richard and Josephine Lung, passed away quietly in his sleep on February 3, 2022. He was born August 12,1929 in China, he went to school in Hong Kong and came to America as a young man. He worked at Raytheon, MIT, and owned the Hong Chow Restaurant in Southboro, Massachusetts. His true passion was art. He graduated from the Museum of Fine Arts and traveled often to China to teach art in a college he helped establish. Beloved brother of the late Victor G. Lung of Brookline and the late Kwan Shum of Newton, and beloved uncle of the late Barbara Lung of Brookline. He is survived by his sister-in-law Pauline Lung of Brookline, niece Jeanne and Ken Chin of Burlington, niece Pauline and Jack Yee of Sharon, nephew Victor and Janet Lung of Lexington, niece Grace Lung of Brookline, nephew David Shum of Newton, nephew Andy and Joanne Shum of Woburn, and nephew Fred Shum. He also leaves many beloved friends who blessed his life. Visitation will be held in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Friday Feb. 11, 2022 from 10:00 - 12:00 with procession leaving at 12:00. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery.
