Gregory M. McCarthy

August 29, 1962 – May 10, 2025

McCARTHY, Gregory M. Of Hanson, formerly of Brookline (Whiskey Point) passed away after a brief illness on May 10, 2025, at the age of 62. Cherished son of Mother Mary Walsh and Stepfather John M. Walsh. Father Thomas M. McCarthy and Stepmother Jean McCarthy. Beloved brother to Leonard of Rockland, Richard of Norwood, Tim and his wife Jo-Anne of Franklin, Adam and his wife Ursula of Franklin. Favorite Uncle of Elizabeth, Mariah, Kayla, Daniel, Nicolette and Oliver. Greg was the 2nd born son but was the smartest, toughest and by far the most handsome of the McCarthy Boy's. Greg was a Gold Medal Special Olympian and a Train enthusiast and was Batman's biggest fan. Greg's smile was contagious and to know Greg was to know true love. We love and miss you Greg.

Visitation will be held in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Thursday May 22nd from 9:00 – 10:30 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 11:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 Lagrange St, West Roxbury.
