SALAH, George J. Firefighter Town of Brookline (ret.). Of Brookline passed away peacefully in his 101st year on April 16, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Virginia F. (Hojlo) Salah. Loving father of Joseph G. Salah and his fiancé Paula Powers of Kingston, Noreen Salah Burpee and her husband Willard A. Burpee of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., and Thomas C. Salah and his wife Beverly of Canton. Adored grandfather of Megan Fearnow, Frederick D. Churbuck, George J. Taylor, Cristen Gardner, Lauren Salah and her fiancé Patrick Goggin, Ashley and Katelyn Salah and the late Elizabeth N. "Liz" Salah. Cherished great grandfather of Cole Fearnow, James and Jack Taylor, Emma, Thomas and George Goggin, Benjamin, Matthew, Jacob and Charlotte "Lucy" Gardner. Dear brother of the late James Salah and Isabel Kreckel. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Saturday morning at 9:00 followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood St., Jamaica Plain at 10:00.
