JOYCE, Francis J. Of Brookline, Mass died on Saturday February 4, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Frances M. (Buckley) Joyce. Loving father of Patrick and his wife Roseanne of Norwell, Richard and his partner Linda Marcus of Brookline, Kathleen and her husband Gary Aufiero of Nashua, New Hampshire, Paul and his wife Jeanne of Topsham, Maine. Devoted grandfather of Adrienne, Justin, Alana, James, Gabriella and Patrick and great grandchild Irie Frances. Loving brother of Alice Weidner and the late John Joyce, Philip Joyce and Marian Burns. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. An Army Veteran of WWII, he proudly served his country he received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and WWII Victory Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge 1st Award Honorable Service Lapel Button WWII. A Graduate of Brookline High School he went on to attend Berklee College of Music. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday June 5, 2017 in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 5 Linden Pl., Brookline at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Walnut Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations made to National Veteran's Foundation, www.nvf.org would be appreciated.
