DONOVAN, Frances M. (McInnis), 84 of Chelmsford died peacefully on April 12, 2016. Formerly of Brookline, Frances was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Donovan and the loving mother of the late Mary E. (Donovan) Khoshabjian of Billerica. Frances was the former Registrar of Brookline High School and a retired employee of the US Post Office. She was involved in many activities including golf, pool, bowling, line dancing, bridge, and also loved to travel. Frances grew up in Dorchester, the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Lawton) McInnis. She is survived by her sisters Martina (McInnis) Andersen of Lexington and Virginia (McInnis) Seaver of Quincy, her brother Joseph McInnis of Duxbury, many devoted nieces and nephews and her beloved "other M&D daughters" , Pamela McIntyre, Lynn Grilli, and Judith Lewis. She was preceded in death by her sister Catherine A. Campbell of Quincy and her brother James F. McInnis of Hingham. Frances was a friend to many and will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Friday morning in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline from 9:00 10:30 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 11:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
