Mr. Fat Po Chu, of Brookline, MA, passed away at home on February 16, 2021, after a brief illness (non-Covid related). He was born in Canton, China in 1935. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Kit Yue Chu (d 2020). They were married for over 61 years and lived in Hong Kong, Brooklyn NY, and Brookline MA. He is survived by his children Elaine Chu (husband Richard Hohman), Michael Chu, and Edward Chu (wife Annie), as well as his beloved grandchildren Marcus and Angelica. He worked as a chef in the Boston-area including the Hong Kong Restaurant in Harvard Square Cambridge, The Aloha in Hingham, and The Diamond Head in Saugus. Funeral services will be private.
