MORONEY, Eileen B. (Murphy). Of Brookline, originally of Stagmount, Co. Kerry, Ireland, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024. Beloved wife of 59 years to Francis M. "Frank" Moroney. Loving mother of Matthew F. of Marshfield, Steve M. of Brookline, Bobby T. and wife Bianca of East Boston and the late Francis "Frankie" and Laura Ann.Devoted daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen Murphy.Dear sister of Bridie Brosnan, Patrick Murphy, Betty Walsh and husband Pat, Sheila O'Connor and husband Donal and the late Neily Murphy all of Ireland. Predeceased by her cherished grandson Patrick G. Moroney. Also survived by several grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Tuesday January 16th at 9:00 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 10:00.
