Obituary

CASSIDY, Dwight A. "Dewey" of Norwood formerly of Brookline passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025. Dwight was predeceased by his loving parents James A. Cassidy and Alice M. (Sampson) Cassidy. Dwight is survived by his son Matthew Cassidy.  He is also survived by his two brothers, James A. Jr., of Brookline and Kenneth D. Cassidy and his partner Pam Jones of New Hampshire. Dewey was the founder of Cassidy Wrecker service where he operated from his early years to present. Proud participator of the Brookline Elks Lodge #886 since he became a member in 2002. Reunited with Winslow who had been dearly missed since his passing over the rainbow bridge. Leaves behind Monroe who loved to ride shotgun in the wrecker, always ready for the next adventure. Frequent flier at the Corrib Pub and the Irish Heaven in Norwood. Dewey was an avid snowmobiler and motorcycle rider. He loved the Patriots. Remained to be interested in Bloomfield, New Brunswick, Canada where he spent summers in his youth. Also loved to BBQ with his friends on his deck.
