AMENDOLA, Doris B. (Benson) Of Brookline passed away peacefully on August 15, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Alfred F. "Fred" Amendola. Loving mother of Arthur G. and his wife Lorin of Newton, Alfred F. Jr. and his wife Peggy of Natick, John R. and his wife Dorothy of Chester and Edward F. and his wife Jenny of Centerville. Devoted daughter of the late Robert and Beulah Benson. Dear sister of the late Raymond and Richard Benson. Adored Grammy to her eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., BROOKLINE on Saturday morning at 9:00 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 10:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00. Interment Holyhood Cemetery.
