Clifton Daniel Mueller Clifton was born on December 24, 1974 to Stephen and Patricia (Blacketer) Mueller in Kansas City, Missouri. Clif was baptized at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on January 19, 1974 and was confirmed in the faith at Mountain View Lutheran Church on March 19, 1989. So began a life filled with academic achievement, employment, family and many, many friends. Before he was old enough to go to school, Clif would wait for big brother Jeff to get home to teach him to read. He was valedictorian at graduation from Bonanza High in 1993. Clif also had the same love for the cello. He performed in the Bonanza High School Orchestra and the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra and went on to choose music as his minor at MIT. In 2005, he began performing in the Boston Civic Symphony. His love for the cello would continue for the rest of his life. At MIT, he majored in Biochemistry and graduated in 1997. Clif put his education to work at Praecis Pharmaceuticals where he did pharmaceutical research. He enrolled in Boston College Law and graduated in 2005. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar November 30, 2006. He worked as a patent attorney at Mitsubishi Electric and Ironwood Pharmaceuticals. In addition to his parents, Clif is survived by brother Jeffrey Mueller, sister-in-law Jenny (Guse) Mueller, niece Ruby Mueller, brother Andrew Mueller and his grandmother Elaine (Meyer) Mueller. Clifs sister Amy Mueller died at birth. Clifton died suddenly on November 28, 2017, age 42. He was known by all as a gentle, kind friend. So ends, too soon, a life to be proud of. He will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Boston Civic Symphony.
