McCaffrey, Camila (Borges). Of Brookline originally from Quebradillas, Puerto Rico passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. McCaffrey. Loving mother of John F. McCaffrey of Puerto Rico, Carol A. McCaffrey and her husband Paul Roman of Quincy, Joseph M. McCaffrey and his wife Joyce of Plymouth, Laura M. McCaffrey of Winchester, Mary Ellen McCaffrey of Dracut and the late Camillia "Susie" McCaffrey and Gregory A. McCaffrey. Dear sister of the late Laureano, Miguel, Ramon, Gabriel, Manuel, Milagros, and survived by Augustin and Felipe.

Adored grandmother to her 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. When Camila & John arrived to Brookline, Camila was introduced to Amina, a young bride & mother as herself and they immediately became life long friends of 72 years and she became a second mother to all of John and Camila's children. She will be greatly missed by us as well. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 8, 2026, in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 5 Linden Pl., Brookline at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visiting hours have been omitted. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. www.alz.org
