Norman, Bruce M. Age 76 of Brookline Mass, formerly of Hartford CT, passed away August 30, 2022. Longtime resident of Brookline. Bruce honorably served as a Boatswain's mate 2nd class, in the U.S. Coast Guard in Vietnam. Followed by some reserve time in New London, CT. He grew up in Kensington, CT and attended local schools. Following the Coast Guard he was located in Hawaii before returning to CT and eventually settled in Brookline. He was a man of many interests and lived his life on his own terms. He will be missed by family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Elmer and Grace (Barks) Norman. His two sisters Joan A. Norman and Patricia A. (Norman) Grady. He is survived by a niece, Laurie Rudzinski of Bristol, CT; a nephew, Mark Grady of Burlington, CT; 2 great-nephews, Joel Rudzkinski and Kyle Grady; A great-niece Jennifer Brester; A great-great-nephew John Brestler; A great-great-niece Jade Brestler; three cousins Jane Gronback, Marie Lausch, and Lynn Gagnon.Visiting hours in the funeral home on Friday September 23rd, from 2-4 PM. A burial will be held on September 26th at Fairview cemetery in New Britain, CT.
