WALLACE, Allene Elizabeth (Pierce). (Affectionately known as "sister"), formerly of Brookline, MA. passed away in her hometown of Berlin, NJ. on July 5, 2025. She was 70 years old.
Allene was predeceased by her Beloved husband Anthony "Tony" Wallace in 2018.
She had a master's in education of psychology and guidance from Rutgers University. Allene spent nearly three decades in community service to adolescents and their families in many different capacities, guidance, social work, mentorship, and counseling.
Allene was a devoted member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Brookline, and she will forever be remembered for her strong faith, courage and grace.
Left to grieve her loss but cherish her memory are her devoted sister and brother-in-law Collene and Jim Moxford, her niece and goddaughter Justine Allene Mair (Colin) and three very "Grand" nephews, Wyatt, Weston, and William.
Visiting hours will be held in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Monday from 4:00 – 7:00. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 5 Linden Pl., Brookline on Tuesday morning at 11:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will be private.
