MARTINEZ, Alfonso of Foxborough passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025. Alfonso is survived by his beloved wife Martha Baquerizo. He is also survived by his sister Ligia Martinez, his son Raul Martinez and wife Jenny of East Providence, RI., daughter Diane Bruno of Saugus MA., son Nestor Martinez of Matthews, NC., daughter Nancy Broding of FL., and son Alfonso Shawn Martinez of Bangor, Maine. Alfonso is predeceased by his loving parents Daniel Martinez and Rosalbina (Bulla) Martinez, as well as his sister Olga Agredo, and his son Hector Martinez of Colombia. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, great children and nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St, Brookline on Wednesday morning August 6th from 9:00 to 10:45 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption, 5 Linden Pl, Brookline at 11:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
