JASON, Virginia H. “Ginny” (Miskell). Died January 21, 2018 in Mashpee, MA. Born July 3, 1927 in Boston, MA. to Thomas and Helen Miskell. Beloved wife of the late Jordan Jason. Loving mother of Richard (Elizabeth) Jason of Wakefield, NH., Joanne (Robert) Joyce of West Barnstable, MA. and Linda (Daniel) Slater of North Truro, MA. Cherished grandmother of Rebecca (Chad) Couture, Jordan (Brigette) Jason, Steven Jason, Matthew (Lynn) Joyce, Michael (Melissa) Joyce, Jason (Keri) Slater, Ryan (Tracy) Slater, Eric (Beth) Slater and Lindsay (John) Driscoll. Great grandmother to 12. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Lawrence and Thomas Miskell.

Retired employee of the Town of Brookline. Ginny was blessed with a creative talent for sewing and gifted many lucky children with her beautiful dolls and stuffed animals. A special thank you to the staff of Bridges by Epoch in Mashpee and to Beacon Hospice for the extraordinary care and comfort they provided to our Mother.

Visitation will be held on Saturday morning January 27, 2018 in the Bell-O’Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline from 9:00 - 10:30 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 11:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
